Scripture: John 6:35
'Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty. '
We are starting this series off with DO YOU BELIEVE? We can see in this passage of Scripture that Jesus was talking to them about belief. They had Jesus standing right in front of them, but they still didn’t truly believe that He was who He said He was. Jesus told them that He was the Bread of Life, but they still struggled to truly believe in Him. I think oftentimes we can be the same way. When we are in situations, we sometimes struggle to truly believe His Word and what it says. We say, “God, I think I believe that You will get me out of this situation. I think that You can provide for me even though I don’t have it right now. I think that You will make a way out of no way.” But you must believe that He is who He says He is. We don’t need evidence before we believe. We need to trust and believe what He says by studying His Word, talking with Him, and building our relationship with Him. Do you believe?
